Subject: Cleaning Demijohns


Many thanks for your instructions - I rescued a couple of demijohns from the tip that had been thrown in with the rubble. They were filthy but have cleaned up pretty well with detergent. I need to get the film off the walls and I'm hoping your vinegar and rice will work.

hi just put last years cider in bottels at 0.950 %avg we used all kind of apples from around the villages here in suffolk and it made a good drink it was at 1045 when i started on 26 oct last year bottle on 26 augs this year
first press this year 17th sept we made it in a 40 point barrel and a small bottelof 3 liters to test it was worth the weight thank you for web page

22-08-2009: Have you ever heard of The Lynches? It is the name of the woods we walk through on our way to Chipping Campden. These woods feature on a few pages on this website. Well, there is now somebody living in The Lynches, Ray Mears style (or is it John Rambo?).

24-07-2009: As promised, I have now taken a few pictures of the Saturday Cider Shed. More pictures will be added in due course.
