Our Crop

Asparagus. We had many asparagus, so many that we had to give loads away. Unfortunately, our asparagus plot is a bit overgrown with weeds which we can't get rid of until later in the year.

Rhubarb.

Strawberries, tomatoes, a cucumber and an onion.

Gooseberries.

Our onions, picked half an hour before this picture was taken. We placed them in their 'hammock' in the shed to dry.

The cucumbers are doing well. We already ate 2 of them; who says size doesn't matter? It does, the bigger ones don't have the taste the smaller ones have, there is too much water in them.
|
|
|
New potatoes. The plants didn't do to well. Maybe because they were planted before we had the rotavator and they were planted in big lumps of soil. They still tasted nice, though.
