Monsell Cottage, Bisley 17-10-2008 - 19-10-2008

Friday night, dave is puring himself a glass of red wine.

Ruth and Paddy are warming themselves up by the fire. After a few weeks of disuse, the cottage can be a bit cold and damp to start with.

Shepherd's Pie on Friday night. Homemade by Julie.

Breakfast on Saturday morning. With no electricity, all warm meals are prepared on the barbecue.

Dave working hard on the new steps.

Saturday afternoon we went to the Daneway in Sapperton. Normally we walk everything. But going to the Daneway and then to Bisley and back to the cottage would be too far so we all went in one car. Ruth and Julie, being the smallest, sat in the back.

The garden of the Daneway Inn in october. I bet this will be full in the season.

Inside the Daneway.

More wood needed for the steps.

Maybe Dave took a bit too much wood for the steps?

Dave admiring his own work...

At this busy time of year, a visit to your home tour was a peaceful and deltihgful break from the fast pace we are all moving at. I sat here sipping my coffee and enjoying every last beautiful photo. The warmth and coziness that you have created in your home is such a treat for the eye. I do believe that your home should be featured in Victoria magazine. Thank you for sharing it with us.
