A weekend full of walks, talks, Mike Oldfield, bacon, sausages, chicken, rain, Jilly Cooper, deer, ralley tracks, pumping water, airbeds, fire, more rain, mud, food, massages, more food, laughs, hills, alcohol, Women's Own, a little bit of sunshine and even more food....

My mum heather Townsend lived in that cottage with her parents & siblings from 1945-1963.

I found this cottage by accident once. Nice to know what it's like inside.

22-08-2009: Have you ever heard of The Lynches? It is the name of the woods we walk through on our way to Chipping Campden. These woods feature on a few pages on this website. Well, there is now somebody living in The Lynches, Ray Mears style (or is it John Rambo?).
